Method

1. 1

   Muddle fresh ginger in a shaker and add the remaining ingredients, except for the Lagavulin whisky.

2. 2

   Fill the shaker with ice and shake.

3. 3

   Double-strain into a chilled old fashioned glass with ice.

4. 4

   Float the Lagavulin whisky on top.
